The KE2 and KE3 projects formed part of the ADB-funded Integrated Road Investment Program (iROAD) in the Kegalle District, undertaken by Nawaloka Construction. The works involved the rehabilitation and improvement of rural roads, including pavement, drainage and associated infrastructure, followed by performance-based maintenance. KE2 covered approximately 78.25 km (21 roads) and KE3 approximately 64.12 km (25 roads).
